As I lay awake in my bed unable to sleep, I start going over things in my head worrying about fluffy and where he is, I remember that I locked the office. But the door was closed when I locked it. Still I spring from my bed, open the french doors, unlock the sliding gate to the pool area, unlock the office door gate, unlock the locks to the office, and switch on the light. For a second I see a ginger blur and I quickly grab it because we’ve left the pool door open and the last thing I need is for this cat to run out into the garden at 3am. I LOCKED MY CAT IN THE OFFICE! Apparently he has forgiven me though because he is sitting with me and purring. My poor fluffy butt. Moral of the story, check EVERY room in your house. Even the ones you forget you have. I’ve just remembered that I got locked in that office accidentally when I was about 5. Stupid Florida room.
