Community set photos, Paramount Lot, Los Angeles. July 2012.
Technically we were not supposed to be let in. Community was not filming while we took our Paramount Lot tour and when they’re not filming, the studios are locked and tours are not to go in. But we made it clear we are HUGE Community fans so our tour guide (who was awesome but shall remain nameless so he doesn’t get in trouble) who is also a Community fan checked to see if the studio doors were locked. They were not, so he let us in! The photos aren’t great because the lights were off (and it took me a while with my new camera to realize the flash was off) and we had very little time. Here you see Troy and Abed’s apartment, Annie’s bedroom and the cafeteria. The Study Room set was locked up. Standing on the Community set, standing in Annie’s bedroom, noticing the details, being where it all happens. This was the highlight of the trip for me, more so than anything I did at Comic-Con. It was a thrill and a meaningful one at that.
