if you make a “if this gets _____ notes by _____, i won’t kill myself” post, i judge you so hard
like i’m sure if you’re willing to wait until whatever date you set for the post to get a certain amount of notes, you’re not that serious on ending your life.

I understand that this is an opinion but I just want to say that some people do kill themselves because they are lonely and need the attention. People say, “oh, they are just saying they are going to kill themselves because they want attention.” Yes, that’s exactly the point. They’ve gotten this far without feeling they’ve been noticed or have gotten attention from someone. That’s why we have suicide hotlines, so you can tell someone what’s going on, so someone can actually listen to you, so you don’t feel like you’re alone. Some people may kill themselves for a lot of other reasons, but seeking attention is still one of them. That may be their last ditch attempt to get it.
